Book Review: Done Deal

Hello fellow readers, I’m R E Fort and welcome back to my podcast and this episode of Book Reviews. In this review, I’m covering Ty Hutchinson’s eighth book in the Sei Thriller series, Done Deal. Let’s get to the review.

Podcast – Book Review – Done Deal

Sei is back. Time for a quick recap, Sei is an assassin who years ago fell in love with and later left Ethan Carmotte. Ethan out of spite put a 50-million-dollar bounty on her head and since then every assassin in the world wants to kill her. To save herself and her newfound family, Sei must end this contract in the only way possible, kill Ethan.

The book opens with Sei and her daughter Mui in two different parts of the world working two parts of the same mission to kill Ethan. Sei is in South Sudan trying to acquire the weapons she will need for the plan while Mui and two of Sei’s new recruits are in Zanzibar. Mui is training one, while the other, an exceptional hacker works to find Ethan.

Now with the right people with the right skill sets in place, Sei is on her way to finding and killing Ethan. But Ethan knows she’s coming and has some surprises for her.

It’s great getting back to reading Ty Hutchinson. His story telling, and characters are always unique and full of action and intrigue. The Sei Thriller series are some of my favorite stories of his. This story really is an action-packed page turner.

Now, on my scale of 1 to 5, 1 being don’t bother and 5 a real page turner, I must give Done Deal, a solid, 5. This story is one heck of a page turner.
