The Book Review
Alive and Killing (David Wolf Book 3)
Alive and Killing is the third book in the David Wolf series. Wolf is enjoying a camping trip with his son. After all the troubles he faced over the last few months, a chance to get away at his favorite camping site with his son, is a dream come true.
While hiking to his favorite spot, he and his son encounter a strange man running down the trail with what appears to be a very heavy backpack. Watching this strange man tripping and falling as he runs, Wolf begins to think, his father and son get away is turning towards the worst. He’s right, Wolf and his son find themselves in a fight for their lives as they try to escape.
When the news of their adventure reaches the town, the local FBI office wants to take over Wolf’s investigation. But Wolf has one thing in mind, catch the men that tried to kill him and his son. Before he loses the one thing, he cares for more than anything, his son.
This book is an action-packed thrill ride. On my scale of 1 to 5, 1 being don’t bother and 5 a real page turner, I give Alive and Killing, a 5. This book was very exciting, and Jeff Carson is a great storyteller, weaving a suspenseful and action-packed story. I can’t wait to read the next in the series.
