Book Review: A Book of Truths (Mui Thriller Series 1) - R. E. Fort

In this, the first in the Mui Thrillers, we are reintroduced to Mui daughter of Sei. Mui is now 15 years old and attending a private school in San Francisco. Her mother Sei, decided it would be best for Mui to spend more time with kids of her own age.

By chance, after a trip to the campus library, Mui ends up with a book that has scribbles and drawings in the margins. But as she starts looking deeper, she finds hidden anagrams and one with a connection to her past. As Mui try’s to figure out the meaning of the codes, other forces are searching for anyone associated with the book.

As I’ve said before, Ty is an excellent writer, and this book is an good example of that. On my scale of 1 to 5, 1 being don’t bother and 5 a real page turner, I give A Book of Truths is a solid, 5. This is a captivating story with great characters and a great read.
