Hello music fans, I’m R E Fort and welcome to this Months Featured Tracks Playlist and Podcast. Each month I do a featured tracks playlist. You can listen to the full tracks on my website, my YouTube channel and Spotify but on my Podcast I only use sample tracks. The track playing behind me now is named So Cool from my 2017 CD 10 . This track and all of the tracks in the playlist can be found on your favorite music streaming and download services. Scroll down and click play on the YouTube player. Let’s get to this months playlist.
I want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. Now, for January’s featured tracks playlist, I am featuring four tracks from three of my most recent CD’s. First up from my 2020 CD Living in Strange Times is the track Tired also from that same CD is Far From Home. Next up, from my 2019 release Smooth As I Wanna Be is a track named Why Do I keep Running Back To You. From my 2017 release 10 a great track named Make It A Double. Let’s get to the music.

To start us off Tired (Tired Of Not Being Seen), from my 2020 CD Living in Strange Times. This slow blues jam is so cool. On this track I am playing the melody on both my Piano and Fender Acoustic electric. The solo was played on my Fender Stratocaster. I add a cool organ solo at the end of this track that I think really brings this track together. Let’s give Tired a listen.

Next up is a great track named Far From Home also from my 2020 CD Living in Strange Times. I love this cool blues track. It makes me think of a lonely soul, on the road working his way back to his love. In this track I wanted to keep it as simple as possible, just a rhythm guitar, piano, bass guitar, with clean drum programming and acoustic guitar for the melody and solo. Let’s give Far From Home a listen.

Next is a hot blues track named Why Do I keep Running Back To You from my 2019 release Smooth As I Wanna Be. This blues track is smoking. I play a Hammond organ sound and my Fender Stratocaster for the melody and solo’s on this track. The drum programming was a blast to put together. I love the walking bass guitar line on this one too. This track just rocks and it will get you moving. Let’s give Why Do I keep Running Back To You a listen.

The last track on this playlist is one of my favorite tracks on my 2017 release 10. The track is named Make It A Double. This one just rocks, mixing blues with a cool smooth jazz groove. I love the second solo, chord changes and drum track on this song. This is one of those tracks where I blend a little blues with a smooth jazz groove. This track is so much fun and really gets you tapping your feet. Let’s give Make It A Double. a listen.
