Song for a friend – In memory of Gabe
I wrote this song shortly after my good friend Gabe pasted. Even thought that was some years ago, I often find myself thinking of all the music we wrote and the good times we had. Gabe and I met in High school guitar class. I had already been playing a few years but Gabe was a natural. He soon surpassed every one. We had more then a few bands together and wrote constently it seemed. While most know or will remember the rocker, I really remember the picker and soloist the songwriter the good friend.
This song reminds of the type of picking and chord changes Gabe and I would play around with back in the day.
