Book Review: True Fiction

Hello fellow readers. In this review I’m covering the first in a book series called True Fiction (Ian Ludlow Thrillers Book 1) by Lee Goldberg.

There is something about a good suspense thriller that captivates me, and this story had me at the opening. It starts with our hero Ian Ludlow, a successful writer in a room with a group of successful writers, brainstorming ideas for the CIA. They’ve been all brought together to dream up terrorist scenarios to help the government prepare for nightmares they couldn’t imagine happening.

Cut to a few years later Ian is on a book tour, watching the news report of a passenger jet crashing onto the beaches of Waikiki. He knows from that moment this was not an accident and something is terribly wrong. When he tries to reach out to the rest of the writers that where with him that day, he finds that he is the only one alive. He knows too much, he knows how and possibly who committed this crime which makes him a target. He has no choice but to run for his life and try to figure out why this act of terrorism was done.

The story is real roller-coaster ride. On my scale of 1 to 5, 1 being don’t bother and 5 a real page turner, I give True Fiction a solid 5. This story is captivating, fast paced and full of surprises. I highly recommend this one, you wont be disappointed.

[music_store_product id=”5330″] Chasing Aries Unplugged, just guitars, bass guitar with some cool drums. This one was the first song I started writing for this album. I’m playing my Fender acoustic electric for rhythm and solo’s. Genre = Blues + Smooth Jazz

[music_store_product id=”5337″] Storm Bringer A classic rock opera I wrote back in the 80’s with my late writing partner and good friend Gabe Sinohui. After years of playing this track without the band, I felt it was time to re-record this with just piano, strings, guitars, and some cool drums. Genre = Soft Rock
