The Book Review
The Silversmith (David Wolf Book 2)

The Silversmith is the second in the David Wolf Mystery Thriller series. In this action-packed sequel, Wolf is back from Italy ready to lay his brothers remains to rest. While he is busy planning for his brother’s funeral, the town is ready to appoint a new Sheriff. After spending 16 years working to become the Sheriff of Rocky Points Colorado, as his father was. His dreams job is taken from him as another is promoted. Wolf and many of the town folk are shocked that Wolf was passed up for this position. Wolf is offered another position outside of the Sheriff’s department but refuses to take it.

He soon finds himself running for his life and trying to find out who is framing him for murder. To do this he’ll have to piece together a mystery that could rewrite his own past.

This book is an action-packed thrill ride. On my scale of 1 to 5, 1 being don’t bother and 5 a real page turner, I give Silversmith, a 5. Jeff Carson has done a great job at painting the scenes and building strong characters. I can’t wait to read the next in the series.
