Book Review: The Collectors

Hello fellow book readers. I just finished the next in the Camel Club series The Collectors by David Baldacci and what a great thrill ride this book is.

When the speaker of the house and the curator of the rare books collection of the Library of Congress both are found dead, Oliver cant help but shake the feeling they are connected in some way. Meanwhile in Atlantic city an extremely talented con artist “Annabelle Conroy” pulls off a $40 million heist against an Atlantic City Casino owner (Jerry Bagger). While Annabelle is fleeing the country, she herself pulled to a past she thought was behind her. As only David Baldacci can, these stories are connected in great twists lots of action, high stakes con’s and a lethal spy network.

This one I couldn’t put down and have already started reading the follow-up story. Lots of great characters with deep driving motives for their actions. Thrilling and action packed is the best way to describe the The Collectors. This is a real keeper and you can hardly go wrong with Mr. Baldacci.

On my must read scale of 1 don’t bother and 5 a true page turner. I give The Collectors a solid 5.

Until next time, keep reading and remember “Without music, life has no soul.”
