Book Review:
Genesis: Ancient Origins Book 4
Hello fellow readers in this book review which should have been the last book review for 2018 but, because of my schedule it is now the first review for 2019. I’m covering book 4 in the series Ancient Origins: Genesis by Robert Storey.
In this, the forth book in the Ancient Origins series, Genesis. Sarah Morgan and her team have escaped Sanctuary proper and our back on the surface. However, the cost of their escape has been great. Sarah and her team are still being chased by the GMRC for a few artifacts that have great power she stole from a secret military vault. One artifact coveted by the GMRC who is willing to do anything to secure its safe return.
Malcolm Joiner, the ruthless intelligence director of the GMRC, seeks to unlock the secrets of Project Ares, a covert collaboration between NASA, the United States military and the GMRC’s R&D Division. But as Joiner plots and weaves his web of lies, he uncovers a shocking truth about Ares that not only undermines his own position of authority, but threatens the very existence of the United States, the GMRC and maybe even humanity itself.
This book was, a great read and from what I can tell, the series a true thrill ride. On my scale of 1 to 5, 1 being don’t bother and 5 a real page turner, I give Genesis 5. The story is very captivating, fast paced and a great read for the science fiction readers.
